The Role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll play a key part in transforming early-stage leads into qualified sales opportunities. Acting as the link between prospective clients and the wider commercial team, you'll manage mid-funnel activity - from initial discussions and product trials through to developing compelling business cases and moving deals towards close.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop early interest into qualified sales opportunities, accelerating progress through the sales pipeline.
- Conduct client meetings (virtually or face-to-face) to present tailored solutions and uncover customer needs.
- Build trusted, consultative relationships with stakeholders and act as their main point of contact.
- Collaborate with prospects to shape business proposals and value cases using relevant data and insight.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technical teams to align on customer delivery.
- Support the coordination and smooth roll-out of customer pilot programs or product trials.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking through HubSpot CRM.
- Prepare thoroughly for engagements, offering insight-led recommendations and added value.
- Contribute to overall sales success by driving deal velocity and improving conversion rates.
- Monitor personal KPIs and performance metrics with the Sales & Marketing Manager, sharing key learnings and improvement ideas.
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent organisational ability and capable of managing several priorities simultaneously.
- 1-2 years' experience in B2B sales tech or SaaS, or fast-paced scale-up setting.
- A confident communicator who builds rapport easily and maintains strong client relationships.
- Degree-level education in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong sense of drive, resilience, and a proactive attitude towards personal growth.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-moving commercial environments.
- Outstanding written, spoken, and presentation skills.
