Job Description

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Sales Advisor for a major company that specialises in Supply, Distribution and Food Manufacturing.

This is a Full-time position.

Permanent position - Monday - Friday - Position of work is Ballymena.

Salary:

£23,000 + Growth Opportunities + Fantastic Benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • To support and develop new and existing opportunities with the Trading Manager
  • To confirm schedules and volumes with customers ensuring orders are relayed to site prior to commencement of production
  • Support the Trading manager on site and sales projects
  • Maintaining cold store stock and age profile while exploiting sales opportunities
  • Visit customers, suppliers and sister sites to increase value, quality and relationships
  • Involvement with the factory floor regarding yields and costings
  • Drive cost improvements within the business
  • To investigate discrepancies and produce relevant reports when requested.
  • To maintain and update all relevant records and files to ensure the smooth running of the trading function
  • To provide a commercial link between the planning function and production
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding work that is carried out.
  • To assist in any other areas required by the trading function
  • Undertake such ad-hoc duties as required to benefit the business

The Ideal Person:

  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office packages
  • A confident and motivated approach to new challenges
  • A willingness to learn new areas and get involved within the factory
  • The ability to challenge and to look for different solutions and opportunities
  • Have an acute attention to detail
  • Have effective communication skills
