Marketing Manager
The Opportunity
We are working with a growing consultancy specialising in health, safety, environmental, and quality services. The organisation supports a diverse client base across multiple sectors, delivering professional, compliant, and practical solutions aligned with industry best practice and ISO standards.
This is a pivotal role within the business, working closely with the Managing Director to drive strategic growth, strengthen brand positioning, and expand market presence. The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and business development initiatives, directly contributing to organisational growth and commercial success.
The successful candidate will take ownership of marketing strategy, lead generation initiatives, and brand development, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Integrated Management System (IMS) and continual improvement objectives.
The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused Marketing Manager who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Working alongside senior leadership, you will lead marketing planning, oversee campaign delivery, support business development activities, and drive consistent messaging across all channels. You will collaborate with consultants and internal stakeholders to translate technical consultancy services into clear, compelling, and commercially effective communications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the organisation's marketing strategy to support business growth and brand development
Lead identification and development of new business opportunities across health, safety, environmental, and quality consultancy services
Oversee lead generation initiatives across digital channels, events, networking, and targeted campaigns
Manage inbound enquiries and support conversion into proposals, quotations, and service agreements
Drive proactive client engagement through email marketing, digital platforms, networking, and strategic outreach
Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives
Oversee creation of proposals, tender submissions, presentations, and marketing collateral
Manage website content strategy and ensure consistent, high-quality marketing communications
Maintain brand consistency and ensure marketing materials remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with company values
Analyse performance data and customer feedback to optimise marketing effectiveness and improve ROI
Ensure marketing activities align with company policies, quality standards, and IMS requirements
Collaborate with consultants and management to translate technical services into strong market positioning and messaging
Support internal and external campaigns related to new services, training programmes, certifications, or accreditations
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role, ideally within professional services or consultancy environments
Qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline
Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business development and revenue growth
Experience within professional services, construction, compliance, or consultancy sectors (advantageous)
Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders and clients effectively
Experience managing marketing strategy alongside hands-on delivery
Knowledge of website CMS platforms, social media management tools, and email marketing systems
Desirable
Understanding of health & safety, compliance, or consultancy services
