VANRATH are working with a prestigious and thriving Construction based company with the recruitment of a Technical Sales Administrator . The successful candidate will be involved from enquiries to the delivery of precast concrete products, generally associated with civil engineering projects. Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent position. Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting customer drawings, producing a breakdown of the materials required
- Pricing bespoke products & creating quotations
- Processing & breaking down customer orders
- Co-ordinating projects and maintaining project records
- Producing all relevant documentation & drawings for production team & customers
- Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and colleagues
- Ordering various products relating to customer orders
- Calling off products for delivery
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of their work
- Organising & prioritising projects based on customer requirements
- Providing technical support and advice for customers and contractors
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Essential Criteria:
- English & Maths equivalent to Grade C or above.
- Good computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work on own initiative but understand level of responsibility within the team. * Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors & consultants.
- Demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Be a highly motivated individual with initiative, self-confidence, with the drive and ability to work under their own direction or within a team of professionals.
- Be keen to develop their individual capability and career development.
The Ideal Person:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience of working in civil engineering or precast concrete manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering products (eg Drainage pipes/manhole/shafts/cover slabs).
- Knowledge of British Standards & Eurocodes.
- Willingness to continue personal development.
- Hold a valid Driving licence.
