Our public sector client is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Roofer to join their property maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to essential repair and maintenance services across local authority-owned buildings, including residential and community properties.

Carry out reactive and planned roofing repairs on domestic and commercial properties
Conduct fault-finding and problem-solving related to roofing systems
Work safely and efficiently at height, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Liaise with tenants, supervisors, and planners to complete jobs to a high standard
Accurately complete job sheets and documentation as required
Proven experience as a roofer, ideally within a maintenance or local authority setting
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Roofing (desirable)
Valid CSCS card
Working at Height and Asbestos Awareness training (or willingness to obtain)
Full UK Driving Licence (essential - company van may be provided)
Opportunity to work within a stable and supportive public sector environment
Weekly pay through an approved payroll provider
