New

Risk & Assurance Senior Manager, Advisory & Growth

Job Description

Risk & Assurance Director - Build and Lead Your Own Offering

Location: Belfast (with Ireland & UK-wide remit)

What's the opportunity?

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced and commercially-minded risk and assurance professional to build, lead and shape a new service line within a highly successful and entrepreneurial firm.

You will have full ownership of developing the Risk & Assurance proposition from a blank slate - delivering internal audit, controls reviews, and governance advisory services to a growing client base. The firm is already established across tax, advisory and corporate finance, with a strong internal referral network and client base ready to tap into.

This is a role for someone with vision and ambition - who wants the support and infrastructure of a high-performing firm, but the freedom to create something of their own. You'll have a seat at the top table, strategic backing, and a genuine opportunity to build long-term value and future equity.

What's in it for me?

  • Complete autonomy to define and grow a Risk & Assurance function

  • A route to equity or profit share - real skin in the game

  • Internal referrals from an engaged partner team and loyal client base

  • A respected brand, supportive culture and no legacy structures to unpick

  • Strong base salary with uncapped earnings potential

  • Freedom to hire, build and scale your team

What will I do?

  • Lead and deliver a full range of risk, assurance, and internal audit projects

  • Build the firm's Risk & Assurance strategy, delivery model and methodology

  • Work directly with senior stakeholders and boards across a variety of sectors

  • Act as a senior representative of the firm in the market - networking, pitching and winning work

  • Collaborate with other service lines to provide joined-up advisory support

  • Build and mentor a team as the service grows

What will I have?

  • Significant experience in internal audit, risk advisory or controls assurance

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to originate and deliver work

  • Confidence working with clients at board and audit committee level

  • Strategic thinking, delivery credibility, and the ambition to lead

  • A genuine appetite to build - a team, a service line and a future at Director level and beyond
