Due to continued expansion, the firm is now seeking to appoint solicitors at multiple levels - from Newly Qualified through to senior-level candidates - who are passionate about restructuring, insolvency, and related litigation. Key Responsibilities
Advise on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and examinerships.
Support contentious insolvency work such as director duties, creditor recoveries, asset tracing, and misfeasance claims.
Draft and negotiate documentation relating to insolvency proceedings, schemes of arrangement, and corporate restructuring.
Collaborate with corporate, banking, and real estate teams on distressed and special-situation transactions.
Engage directly with insolvency practitioners, counsel, and key stakeholders, helping to strengthen client relationships.
Contribute to business development and the continued success of the firm's growing restructuring practice.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify) in Northern Ireland.
Strong interest or experience in restructuring, insolvency, or litigation.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills.
Ability to work effectively within a high-performing, collaborative team.
Commercial mindset and a solutions-driven approach.
Desirable:
Previous experience advising on corporate or personal insolvency matters.
Exposure to contentious insolvency or commercial litigation.
Understanding of cross-border insolvency and restructuring processes.
Experience mentoring junior colleagues (for senior applicants).
