About the Role

We're partnering with a top-tier leisure provider to recruit a Resort Operations Director to lead site maintenance, guest services, and team performance. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong operational and health & safety experience.


Responsibilities

  • Report to the CEO, managing the upkeep and safety of park grounds and infrastructure

  • Lead a team of maintenance and security staff, including seasonal hires

  • Maintain a safe, high-quality environment for guests and residents

  • Oversee contractor work (e.g. electrical, gas, plumbing), ensuring value and performance

  • Plan and deliver seasonal maintenance schedules

  • Handle on-the-ground issues, drive improvements, and ensure compliance


Essential Criteria

  • 3-5 years in a senior operations or facilities role

  • Team management and staff development experience

  • Health & Safety knowledge, including risk assessments

  • Experience with external contractors and cost control

  • Strong organisation, leadership, and ICT skills

  • UK or NI driving licence


Desirable

  • Background in leisure, parks, or hospitality

  • Experience with machinery and site improvement projects

  • Familiarity with budgeting, KPIs, and quality standards

  • NEBOSH or similar safety qualification
