VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading specialist property finance lender to recruit a Regional Account Manager to cover Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced relationship manager within the mortgage or property finance sector to join a fast-growing and highly respected lender.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with mortgage brokers and intermediaries, driving new lending opportunities across Residential and Buy-to-Let mortgage products.
This is a remote working & field-based relationship role (with the rest of your time working from home), ideal for someone who thrives on building networks, generating new business, and supporting broker partners to deliver successful lending outcomes.
There will be rare trips to HQ in England.
The Role
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for originating new lending opportunities through mortgage intermediaries, while managing and growing an established broker network across Northern Ireland.
Key responsibilities include:
Building long-term partnerships with mortgage brokers and intermediary firms across Northern Ireland
Developing new relationships within the broker market while strengthening existing connections
Identifying opportunities to increase lending volumes across residential and investment property finance products
Acting as a key point of contact for brokers seeking guidance on lending criteria and potential cases
Working closely with internal teams including credit, underwriting and broker support to ensure applications progress efficiently
Delivering product updates and training sessions to broker firms where required
Maintaining regular engagement with key broker accounts through in-person meetings and industry networking
Monitoring activity within the mortgage and property finance market to remain informed of competitor trends and opportunities
Supporting brokers in submitting well-prepared cases by providing guidance on required documentation and lending policies
Representing the organisation at broker meetings, networking events and industry functions
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants must have experience within property finance or the mortgage industry, as the role involves working closely with mortgage intermediaries.
Criteria:
Proven experience in a field-based account management or business development role
Property finance / mortgage industry experience is essential
Experience working with mortgage brokers or intermediaries
Strong relationship management and networking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland for broker meetings
The Package
Salary: £65,000
Commission structure with OTE £80,000+
Field-based role covering Northern Ireland
