Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Job Description


VANRATH are proud to establish this long-established and highly regarded accountancy firm in Enniskillen who are seeking a professional and mature Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their team.
This is a front-of-house role ideally suited to someone with a calm, confident manner and a strong sense of professionalism. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing a range of office support tasks, including light credit control and maintaining the firm's internal systems and processes. You'll be a key point of contact for clients and a supportive presence for junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front desk reception duties - welcoming clients and visitors
  • Answering incoming calls and managing phone queries
  • Booking client appointments and managing meeting room schedules
  • Scanning, photocopying, and filing both digitally and in hard copy
  • Monitoring and distributing emails and post
  • Maintaining internal practice management systems and supporting process efficiency
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
  • Supporting junior staff with day-to-day queries
  • Assisting with basic credit control duties - issuing reminders, liaising with clients regarding outstanding payments, and updating internal records

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or office support role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Confident using office and practice management systems (e.g. document control, scheduling, client databases)
  • Comfortable with basic credit control tasks and follow-up processes
  • Professional presentation and discretion in dealing with clients
  • A team player with a proactive and supportive attitude
