Receptionist

Location: Belfast City Centre
Salary: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour
Contract: Initial interim contract (approx. 8 weeks - Christmas cover)

About the Role

VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a leading professional services firm in Belfast in the recruitment of a Receptionist to provide front-of-house and administrative support over the busy Christmas period.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organisational skills and a professional manner to gain experience within a respected legal environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and courteously.
  • Maintain the reception area to a high standard, ensuring a professional image at all times.
  • Support the wider office with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Schedule appointments, manage meeting rooms, and coordinate refreshments as required.
  • Assist with ad hoc office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within a professional or legal setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and confident telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Professional presentation and ability to represent the firm positively.
