R&D tax manager - amazing opportunity

What you will do:
- Client Management: Maximise clients' R&D claims, ensuring timely submission in line with HMRC requirements. Take responsibility for a broad portfolio of clients across NI & UK
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor staff to help them develop. Work closely with the leadership team to drive the technical development of the R&D Tax Credits team.
- Client Service: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional levels of service. Proactively identify opportunities and risks.
- Business Development: Identify and convert opportunities to sell work by managing existing clients and winning new ones.
- Project Management: Oversee the delivery of projects using cutting-edge technology.
- Networking: Build and leverage networks and relationships both internally and externally
What you will have:
- Education: Either a degree in a technical subject (e.g., engineering, science, software) or a chartered accounting or chartered tax qualification.
- Experience: Prior experience in R&D Tax Credits is preferred but not essential. Experience in a Tax environment is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Other Requirements: A valid UK driving license is required.
