Quantity Surveyor Public Sector - 6 Month Contract

We're thrilled to be recruiting for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our Public Sector Client. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant public sector projects while enhancing your career.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed cost estimates and create tender documents for public sector initiatives.
- Manage project budgets and foster collaboration with contractors,architects and engineers.
- Evaluate project specifications to offer expert advice on cost-effective strategies and value engineering.
- To ensure continued and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders such as Heads of Department, Group Commanders, Area Business Managers and representative bodies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
OR
- Be a corporate member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
OR
- Hold a minimum of HND or equivalent in a construction related discipline with a minimum of three years' relevant experience;
OR
- have a minimum of five years' experience in quantity surveying.
