Quantity Surveyor (Massive Capital Projects)

VANRATH are excited to work with one of the biggest brands in Northern Ireland as they expand their QS team. This comes off the back of a multi-million-pound investment announcement. The role will be based locally, with no travel required, and hybrid work will be available after probation.

The role:

• Compiling, bargaining, and scrutinising expenses for tender submissions and contractual agreements
• Sourcing subcontractors and drafting comprehensive documentation for subcontractor orders
• Oversight and assessment of alterations to project specifications
• Aiding in the creation of preliminary project estimates, interim assessments, and final financial summaries
• Generating monthly reconciliations of cost versus value for ongoing contracts
• Collaborating with the Capital Projects Manager and Projects Director to ensure effective logistical, technical, and financial oversight, aligning with overarching business objectives
• Contributing to the development and continuous monitoring of operational and capital budget plans.

Experience you need:

• 3+ years QS/estimating experience
• Understanding of compliance and regulation for capital works
• Experience of contractor/consultancy relationships
• Desire to grow and develop skills within a global industry
