VANRATH are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to work on high end fit out projects, based in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Client:
Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out a range of fit-out projects across various sectors including commercial, hotels, luxury residential and specialist joinery projects.

The business is thriving and are winning new projects regularly. As a result, they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join them.

This opportunity is based full time in Antrim with travel to GB required fortnightly for 1 or 2 days per time. The successful candidate must be happy with occasional travel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The preparation and management of project budgets
  • Procurement of subcontractors and preparation of subcontract documentation
  • The valuation and agreement of the cost of any variations
  • Preparation of monthly cost, value and reconciliation reports and final accounts
  • Provision of contractual advice to the Project Team


The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Ideally have experience on fitout projects or refurbishment projects
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Experience using Conquest is an advantage
  • Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
