About You

  • Minimum of 5+ years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, ideally in a Main Contractor environment
  • Proven experience with commercial, residential, or refurbishment projects
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems
  • Full driving licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Working towards or attained chartered status with RICS

What You'll Do

  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare accurate cost reports
  • Manage interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
  • Assess subcontractor applications and variations
  • Support cashflow management and mitigate commercial risks
  • Identify value engineering opportunities for cost efficiencies
  • Ensure contractual compliance and maintain detailed commercial documentation
  • Collaborate with site teams to support on-time, within-budget project delivery
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
