About You
- Minimum of 5+ years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, ideally in a Main Contractor environment
- Proven experience with commercial, residential, or refurbishment projects
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems
- Full driving licence (desirable but not essential)
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Working towards or attained chartered status with RICS
What You'll Do
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare accurate cost reports
- Manage interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
- Assess subcontractor applications and variations
- Support cashflow management and mitigate commercial risks
- Identify value engineering opportunities for cost efficiencies
- Ensure contractual compliance and maintain detailed commercial documentation
- Collaborate with site teams to support on-time, within-budget project delivery
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
