Quantity Surveyor

VANRATH are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to become a pivotal member of our clients construction team, working on a variety of Civil Engineering and sports facility construction projects.

Client

Our client is specialist Civil Engineering and construction contractor, with a portfolio of contracts, including a variety of sports grounds, around Northern Ireland.

They boast a 30 year track record of delivering excellence as a leading contractor and as such, have expanded their order book to include a large number of civil engineering and building works in both the public and private sector.

The Role

• Quality / tender process submissions.
• Cash flow analysis, monthly valuations and final accounts in line with project needs.
• Sourcing, negotiation and evaluating of suppliers and sub-contractors quotations.
• The auditing of Contracts including JCT, ICE and NEC.
• Take offs for Activity Schedules, Bill of quantities documentation preparation from drawings, specifications and schedule finishes (cad skills useful).

The Ideal Person

• 3+ years Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience in construction and/or Civil Engineering projects
• Third level degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction related discipline
