Vanrath are recruiting for a Quality Technician OR a Trainee Quality Technician to join our international plastic manufacturing client based in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

You will report to the Quality Manager and be responsible for inspection and testing of quality process and products to ensure customer expectations are met. Working with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, process and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented in order to maintain product quality and records traceability.

To qualify for Trainee role you must have the below

• Third level qualification such as HND, HNC, BTEX or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Experience delivering process / quality improvement
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Excel

For the non-Trainee role, you must meet the above as well as

• 1 year's relevant quality technician / quality engineering experience within manufacturing
• Experience of inspection and testing of products
• Experience of internal quality auditing
• Experience of continuous improvement tools

Working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.15am to 5.15pm and early Friday finish at 2.45pm. In return you will receive a competitive salary, company benefits and long term career progression opportunities within a world class manufacturing facility.
