VANRATH are recruiting for a Quality Lead to join our leading packaging client who manufacture throughout Ireland, UK and Europe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer who wants to take a bit of a step up and have responsibility for not only yourself, but another Quality member within the team.
As a Quality Leader you will manage and maintain the company's quality systems to ensure best practice.
Duties

• Ensure all areas of the quality system are completed on a daily basis and to address any non-compliance that may arise.
• Conduct external audits
• Carry out internal audits
• Close out any non-conformance's from External Audits
• Have a hands-on approach to ensure all areas of the quality systems are being met
• Carry out training on an on-going basis in relation to quality policies and procedures
• Check the quality of the products on a daily basis against product specification.
• Maintain the company's Hazard and Risk Management System
• Ensure the company is kept up to date with changes in legislation
• Carry out testing on an on going basis
• Compile reports and conduct Management Review Meetings on a regular basis
• Any other duties as may be required to fulfil the needs of the post.

We are looking for

• 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline
• 2+ years quality experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment
• Team leadership qualities/experience
• Working knowledge of BRC standard, HACCP, Food Legislation, and Food Hygiene
• Driving license as visits to supplier and customer sites may be necessary
