Salary: £30,000 - £33,000


A leading provider of advanced decarbonisation and building-services solutions is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join their expanding team in Banbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of quality, safety, and compliance across mechanical, electrical, and fabrication projects.



The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure that products, components, and installations consistently meet internal and client requirements. Working alongside production, engineering, and project teams, you will carry out inspections, testing, and quality documentation to support full compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect materials, components, and assemblies throughout the production process.
  • Complete final inspections before dispatch or installation, confirming compliance with drawings and quality plans.
  • Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, and calibration records.
  • Support root-cause investigations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work with production and project teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 requirements and internal quality procedures.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.


About You

  • Experience in quality inspection or QA within a mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and common inspection techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a structured, proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and digital quality systems.
  • A qualification in Engineering or a Quality-related field is beneficial.
