Quality Assurance Specialist (Insurance) - 100% Remote - 33k

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Quality Assurance Specialist for a leading financial company (multi-billion pound insurance company), that places immense value on their staff.

Working From Home - 5 days per week (Monday - Friday all at home) - This firm offers real progression opportunities alongside some of the best benefits in Northern Ireland.

This is a Monday - Friday position - Permanent - 35 Hour week (9.00am - 5.00pm w/hour lunch)

Initial training for this role (usually a couple days) will be in the company's Newtownards office.. There will be occasional needs to visit this office.

Salary:

£28,000 - £33,000 + Bonus + Fantastic Benefits Package + Remote working & Progression Opportunities & Salary Reviews

Responsibilities:

Working within the Quality Team the purpose of this role is to monitor, analyse and improve the quality of processes, products and services, ensuring adherence to FCA regulations, other statutory requirements and internal standards.Maintain and develop relationships with insurers and other relevant business suppliers.

• Ensure key business processes and procedures are documented and maintained.
• Analyse new opportunities for continual improvement within business processes
• Investigate, resolve, and implement corrective or preventative actions through improvement of processes following root cause analysis of errors or problems, for example: NMLEs, Complaints, Process improvement suggestions and Insurer requirements.
• Develop and implement new processes or enhance an existing process to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Attend the customer forum, vulnerable customer forum and complaints meeting and identify process improvements.
• Maintain a close working relationship with Compliance and relevant stakeholders to ensure the business meets regulatory requirements throughout its processes.
• Coordinate annual Compliance process and procedure reviews and completion of associated reporting.
• Update internal scripting as necessary prior to implementation of a new change.
• Support the process of internal audits with insurers, third party providers and aggregators,
• Undertake internal audits and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring that the organisation meets its obligations.

Requirements

• 2 years Insurance or Financial Service industry experience
• Solid understanding of FCA Regulatory requirements
• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in improving processes
