They are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to fill the role of Accountant Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team while overseeing a wide range of accounting functions and client accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, technical expertise in accounting principles, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

What you will do:

  • Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide strategic advice and solutions to help them achieve success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all accounting matters.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve processes and services.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and promote growth opportunities for the firm.
  • Contribute to the firm's overall success by actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and other collaborative activities.

About you:

  • Qualified accountant with a recognized professional certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
