They are seeking a skilled and qualified accountant to join the vibrant team and contribute to their long standing commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

What you'll do


As a Qualified Accountant in our busy practice, you will play a pivotal role in managing a wide range of accounts, applying your expertise in both accounting and audit to Northern Ireland based companies and partnerships. Audit oversight will be approx 10% of the role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality face to face service to clients, coupled with the ability to handle diverse accounting responsibilities.

Accounts Management: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Audit Expertise: Apply your audit knowledge to contribute to and assist in the execution of audit engagements, ensuring clients meet regulatory requirements.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with your own portfolio of clients, addressing their queries, providing advice, and offering solutions to meet their business needs.
Financial Advisory: Provide valuable financial advice to clients, helping them optimise their financial performance and achieve their business goals.
Taxation Compliance: Ensure compliance with taxation regulations, assist in the preparation of tax returns, and provide support during tax audits.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share insights, best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the practice.

About you


Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a busy accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
Overall understanding of taxation regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.

No travel requirements for this role.
