Our Manufacturing client is looking for a Qualified Company Accountant to come in initially on a 3 day basis. Are you a Qualified Accountant with reporting experience within a Manufacturing environment?

We are delighted to be working exclusively with a global Manufacturing business in helping recruit for a Qualified Company Accountant. Reporting directly to the Financial Director, you will oversee a small team on a 3 day basis, you choose the days and hours you work! Option then to grow as this hugely successful company grows into state of the art offices next year with annual turnover and staff numbers set to double.


The Ideal Person


Essential Criteria;

  • Chartered Accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA )
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Powerpoint, Word )
  • Proficient in the use of Sage Line 50
  • Strong numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as effectively contributing within the team
  • Manufacturing industry experience / Factory exposure are desirable

Responsibilities:

As a Qualified Company Accountant, your main responsibilities will include;

  • Business Partnering Managing Directors
  • Systems exposure and implementation
  • Ongoing project work with various departments in line with growth plans
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including variance analysis and P&L
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of annual budgets & in year forecasting
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting
  • Month end journals and costing analysis
  • Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns in Ireland & UK.
