Python Developer - Back End

My client work with some of the worlds largest companies to intelligently defend against advanced cyber attacks, disinformation and abuse of digital platforms.

This team is growing in Belfast and the states, this project involves developing an intelligence and analysis platform to support analysts globally. You will develop Python Flask apps that orchestrate analytical workflows and federate queries across dozens of external API's.

Your background:

- Python 3 Development experience using Pythonic idioms
- Designing and writing RESTful API's in Python Flask Apps to support web front ends and other services
- Writing SQL against technologies like Postgres and Amazon Athena
- Applying Authentication and authorisation to external an internal API's.
- Ability to use GIT responsibly on the team
- Developing code deployed to a containerised environments

You should be experienced in:

- Writing unit tests and automated integration tests
- Deploying to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
- Working with the architect to iteratively design simple scalable systems
- Working in an Agile Scrum software Development lifecycle
- Using Jira tickets

Summary:

My client has a physical office in Belfast city centre. Employees may work with their managers and team to select a hybrid schedule that allows working remotely several days a week. The salary level available here is up to £80k.
