Python Developer

Job Description

VANRATH are thrilled to be partnering with a leading global financial services company, in recruiting a Python Developer to join their innovative team. This role involves participating in the development of a cutting-edge, enterprise-class real-time securities trading system. You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of large-scale distributed financial applications, working within a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of middle office applications.
  • Develop applications that integrate with various third-party systems.
  • Write and maintain code in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, and C++ on Linux
  • Participate in application development, testing automation, support, enhancements, and troubleshooting.


Essential Experience and Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of Python
  • Web programming experience, preferably with VUE or AngularJS.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle PL/SQL is a significant advantage).
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
