VANRATH are pleased to be working with a local charity who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer the Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administration of the organisations purchase ledger.

This opportunity is currently offering hybrid working and would be ideal for candidates with a varied experience across transactional finance.

The Ideal Person

If you've experience as a Finance Assistant,

  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills


As a Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Coding and input of purchase invoices
  • Regular processing of payments including cheque and BACS payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing, review and payment of volunteer expenses
