Are you looking to get your foot through the door in the HSCNI?

Are you an experienced project manager seeking a new challenge in the healthcare domain?

This exciting opportunity will allow the successful Project Manager (Band 6) to oversee the implementation of a new project in partnership with an education establishment over a 3-year programme which will commence upon appointment.

This is an urgent/immediate start.

The successful candidate will ensure that all projects and workstreams meet key milestones aligning within the allocated budget, whilst continuously working closely with stakeholders to the highest standards of conduct, performance and ethics, demonstrating professionalism at all times and commitment to service improvement.

Salary / Benefits

  • HSCNI Band 6 - circa £32,000 (plus holiday pay and pension from day 1, discounted benefits)
  • Hybrid / Work from home / office model ongoing


The Ideal Person

  • PRINCE 2 Certified.
  • End-to-end project management experience.
  • Experience leading projects within set timeframes.
  • Public Sector experience (desirable).


Responsibilities

  • Lead and co-ordinate the procurement and implementation of this new project across services within defined timescales and budget.
  • Create business cases, contingency plans and oversee budgets/overhead costs throughout each phase of the project.
  • Oversee assigned project implementation activities, managing both business and ICT personnel through the delivery phase.
  • Ensure all project milestones are properly identified for all phases of the project.
  • Define project resource requirements to meet the projects' objectives.
  • Provide guidance and direction, delegating work amongst the project team.
