Project Manager - Insurance - Fully Remote Role

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of an Project Manager for a leading financial company (multi-billion pound insurance company), that places immense value on their staff.

Working From Home - 5 days per week (Monday - Friday all at home) - This firm offers real progression opportunities alongside some of the best benefits in Northern Ireland.

This is a Monday - Friday position - Initially this will be a 12-month contract.. High likelihood of permanency based on performance..

35 hour week.

Initial training for this role (usually a couple days) will be in the company's Newtownards office.. There will be occasional needs to visit this office..

Salary:

£35,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Fantastic Benefits Package & Progression Opportunities & Salary Reviews...

Responsibilities:

• Plan and drive completion of all project deliverables including the project plan, testing, implementation and handover into business as usual..
• Planning, tracking, and managing the projects.
• Ensuring project objectives are met..
• Ensuring adherence to project management methodology and practices
• Identify and then judge when to escalate risks and issues and their associated mitigation plans to the Project Sponsor in order to prevent impact or additional risk.
• Recognize and rapidly adapt to ongoing change during the project.
• Ensure successful delivery to time, budget and quality.
• Manage and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Change Management - deliver some of the change management deliverables - managing the relationships with key stakeholders & driving continuous improvement

Requirements

• At least 2 years Project Management Experience
• At least 1 Years Process Improvement Implementation experience
• Demonstrable experience in task management/coordination in a complex environment (e.g., with many stakeholders and/or contributing parties)

Desirable Experience

• Experience in the Insurance industry
