Client
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager. The role holder will be responsible for the management of allocated Construction Project(s) in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the safe and successful delivery of Projects, whilst also adding value to the overall Business.


Remuneration
£55,000 - £65,000+ Benefits DOE


The Ideal Person

  • Substantial experience and proven track record as a Project in the Construction sector.
  • Substantial Experience in delivering Residential projects.
  • Experience of leading, managing, and motivating project teams in demanding environments.
  • Proficient in programming software.
  • A good understanding of elements necessary to deliver effective supply chain management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate, lead and engage diverse teams with due consideration to employee development, succession and performance management.
  • A strong verbal and written communicator.
  • IT literacy.



Responsibilities

  • Ensure Projects are adequately planned, programmed, and monitored at all times.
  • Provide micro programmes/period 'look aheads' to ensure detailed project monitoring.
  • Provide project phasing strategies.
  • Provide a clear and concise understanding of Employers Requirements, managing Design Teams as required, then ensuring effective implementation of this information.
  • Working in collaboration with Commercial resource, ensure procurement is managed in a timely and efficient manner, thus ensuring the deployment of appropriate resources and materials to all activities at required programme dates.
  • In collaboration with wider business team, ensure effective cost management and budgeting exercises throughout projects.
  • Deploy relevant Industry/Supply chain experience and knowledge, to the benefit of Projects under your control.
  • Identify and assess Projects Risk, ensuring the deployment of mitigation strategies as required.
