VANRATH are recruiting a Project Architect to work for a leading multi-disciplinary Practice, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
c£50,000 to £60,000 DOE + package

Client:
Leading, multi-disciplinary practice based in Belfast that provide Architectural, Project Management and Quantity Surveying services, primarily for the private commercial sector throughout Northern Ireland.

The Role:
Great opportunity for a Project Architect with a number of years post chartership experience, preferably within the private commercial sector with experience in retail, offices, hospitality to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is a pivotal role within the practice and offers genuine prospects of advancement within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise directly with clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively with the minimum of supervision
  • Develop conceptual design proposals with attention to technical detailing and construction methods
  • Prepare both presentation and construction drawings
  • Assist in the expansion and growth of the business


The Ideal Person:

  • ARB or RIAI Registered with a minimum of 5+ years post chartership experience
  • Proficiency in relevant software, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit (or similar)
  • Technical knowledge, particularly in the private retail sector including producing and coordinating detailed working drawings / specifications, preparing statutory applications, liaison with other design team consultants, specialist consultants and contractors
  • In-depth understanding of planning requirements, Building regulations including fire safety and disability requirements
  • Experience of working on retail projects on behalf of the Landlord would be a distinct advantage with the ability to demonstrate interaction with commercial agents and solicitors in preparing Lease Plans, Agreement for Lease Drawings and Tenant Specifications
