Project Accountant (£45,000, City Centre)

My Client

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Accountant for a market-leading client based in Belfast City Centre. This is a new role and will be varied and challenging from the outset. The role will commence immediately, reporting directly to the Finance Director, and ideally this requires an immediate start to facilitate a handover. The timescales will be a c.6-9 month basis initially but with a view to extension for a good performer.


The Role

  • Gain full understanding of the day to day running of the main business unit's financial operations, including all aspects of month end, reporting, budgets and cashflows
  • Assume responsibility for the set up of a new business unit and employ processes to ensure synergy between new an old business units
  • Take responsibility for delivery of the integration of all financial information from the old co to new and ensuring that works seamlessly with finance, stocks, and logistics, liaising with relevant stakeholders across the business
  • Finance lead on the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring optimisation ahead of go live

The Ideal Candidate

  • CCAB Qualified Accountant
  • ERP integration experience is desirable
  • Proven level of MS Excel skills/analytical skills
  • Immediate availability

Remuneration

c.£45-50k
