VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Accountant on behalf of a market-leading manufacturing client based in Portadown, to undertake a contract for a minimum period of 12 months. The role requires an experienced Accountant with considerable experience in system implementations, who is available on a quick turnaround to start within the next four weeks.

The Role

• Gain full understanding of the day to day running of the main business unit's financial operations, including all aspects of month end, reporting, budgets and cashflows
• Assume responsibility for the set up of a new business unit and employ processes to ensure synergy between new an old business units
• Take responsibility for delivery of the integration of all financial information from the old co to new and ensuring that works seamlessly with finance, stocks, and logistics, liaising with relevant stakeholders across the business
• Finance lead on the implementation of a new system, ensuring optimisation ahead of go live

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Accountant
• Systems implementation experience is desirable
• Proven level of MS Excel skills/analytical skills
• Immediate availability / available within a couple of weeks
