VANRATH are exclusively recruiting a Project Accountant to join a successful business group in Belfast, who are re-engineering their internal controls and processes. If you are a finance professional with proven experience of process improvement, redesigning systems, this could be the ideal role.

The Project Accountant will take on a newly created role for the business and will be working closely with key stakeholders within the business, offering a company wide business partnering solution. This role is initially scheduled for a period of 6 months, with the view to securing a permanent contract.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
  • System implementation experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Project experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available at short notice

What you'll do

  • Understand the drivers behind business performance, explaining with operational managers
  • Reviewing current systems to suggest recommendations for further improvements
  • Building reports for business partnering activities
  • Set up and run new reporting processes
  • Additional project accounting
