VANRATH is currently partnering with a top-tier international law firm, present in more than thirty countries, to recruit a Professional Services Team Leader.

The position operates on a hybrid basis, with three days required in the modern Belfast City Centre office and two days working remotely. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. This is a permanent role.

Primary Duties

  • Lead the daily functions of the Document Verification team, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high standards.

  • Facilitate regular performance discussions, team briefings, and one-on-one meetings to communicate objectives and follow up on action items.

  • Oversee employee development programs, coordinating training schedules and monitoring progress toward individual and team goals.

  • Evaluate team performance through frequent check-ins, addressing any issues promptly, and applying formal management actions if required.

  • Promote process efficiencies and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational workflows.

  • Deliver exceptional client service by collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Identify and resolve service delivery challenges, escalating critical matters when necessary.

  • Support operational continuity by providing backup for other roles such as workflow coordination when needed.

  • Work alongside Document Experts to clarify technical matters and guide the team accordingly.

  • Ensure seamless shift changes through clear communication with colleagues.

  • Manage complex projects within the Document Services function, especially those involving multiple departments.

  • Build technical competence through ongoing learning opportunities such as training sessions and shadowing.
