The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support and coordinate the production team to meet daily targets and quality standards
- Implement and maintain production schedules, monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure efficient production
- Train employees on production processes and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Regularly collaborate and communicate with other departments
Person Specification
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of food hygience and safety requirements
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
