Our client is a local company with a global customer base. They manufacture world class heavy plant machinery used in the mining and quarrying industry. With over 25 years experience manufacturing machinery, they have placed themselves as a house hold name within the industry.
What you'll do
- Daily meetings with the production planner to organise and prioritise jobs and cover any issues or delays
- Lead a team of up to 20 employees
- Documenting ECR notes, record changes to production, technical support in processes
- Product manufacturing development to make processes as smooth and efficient as possible
- Overall supervision of production employees
- Drive the quality standards
- Allocating work to the production employees
- Responsibility for induction processes
- Opening and closing of the factory
About you
- 2-3 years experience at supervisory level in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- A confident leader with experience of leading teams of 15-20 people
- Have the ability to resolve problems and be adaptable to change
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must have hands on Engineering experience
