Production Planner / Master Scheduler

VANRATH are delighted to be representing an industry-leading manufacturing business in Newtownabbey. Our client operate a high volume manufacturing facility, and managed to produce an incredible 80 million parts last year alone. This is a key position within the business, being solely responsible for the efficient movement of raw materials to production to manage high customer expectations.
Monday - Thursday (08.00 - 16.30) Friday (08.00 - 15.30) - 39 hours.

The ideal person:
- Three years in a similar position
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience working in a high-volume production environment
- 123 Insight MRP experience
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage all sales orders and ensure demands are met OTIF
- Liaise closely with Production Manager on staff shortages and changes to schedules
- Oversee stock counts of raw materials and ensure they are in line with projections
- Utilise company MRP to accurately update key production and materials information
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives when required.
