Our client has now identified the need for a new Production Manager to oversee a brand-new production facility, which is testament to their impressive growth.

The ideal person:

• Two year's in a similar role
• Food manufacturing or general manufacturing experience
• Awareness of continuous improvement techniques

As the Production Manager, duties will include:

• Ensure the effective use of materials, machines and manpower to produce quality products on time and within budget.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement practices and encourage this attitude to working practices to drive improvements in productivity and quality.
• Lead, motivate, develop and performance manage the production department.
• Develop team capabilities through identifying training needs and build skills matrix.
• Responsible for ensuring all H & S issues are raised and dealt with appropriately, all accidents/near missus reported to senior management and logged in accordance with UK Safety Laws.
