VANRATH are delighted to be working with a leading Public Sector organisation who are actively recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager on an initial interim contract basis.

This is an immediate requirement by my client and applicants with a short notice period would be preferred.

About your next role

The purpose of this role will be to manage a small procurement team and help ensure the effective management and delivery of procurement services for the Association.

About you

  • CIPS Accreditation Level 4 or equivalent OR University Degree (finance/management/business)
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
  • Minimum 3 years' experience (within the last five) relevant procurement experience
  • Experience of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or utilities
  • Strong understanding of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Hold a valid, clean driving licence

What you'll do

  • Provision of an efficient compliant and flexible procurement service
  • Ensure that the Association's procedures in the procurement of goods and services comply with NI Public Procurement Policy
  • Identify procurement risks and advise on how these can be managed /mitigated
  • Establish, prepare, issue, co-ordinate and participate in the Association's tender exercises and ensure their timely evaluation
