The main purpose of this position is to be responsible to the Procurement Development Manager, supporting Commercial and Procurement Services and the organisation in achieving aims and objectives by collating, validating and analysing a range of commercial and procurement data, providing high quality management information and recommendations to the organisation.

About you

• Third level qualification in Business Studies, Public Administration, Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
• Competent using Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational skills

What you'll do

• Collate, validate and analyse a full range of commercial and procurement data across the organisation

• Provide operational support for procurement systems, including data input and maintenance, and responding to internal customer procurement requests

• Assist in providing support on statistical information and analysis to ensure that procurement and commercial policies and strategies are based on robust corporate information

• Assist in the identification of inefficiencies of spend across the organisation and provide innovative procurement solutions to maximise value for money by competitive procurement means

• Identify innovative approaches to improve data analysis and procurement activity across the organisation
