Working hours:

39 hours per week - Days and Evenings

Duties

  • Coordinate fault-finding and resolution processes related to production.
  • Apply lean techniques and expertise to enhance manufacturing processes, improving yield, quality, throughput, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to enhance efficiency in manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Monitor production output efficiency and promptly address any negative trends.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects within the mill.
  • Work with third-party contractors as needed to resolve issues and develop processes.
  • Actively engage in planning and implementing capital improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with various departments to achieve management goals and targets.
  • Provide support and training to the operations team as needed.
  • Review and improve equipment, process control sequencing, and operating procedures.
  • Train production operators to enhance their process knowledge and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees and contractors.



Criteria

  • Applicants should possess either a solid academic background in a process engineering-related discipline or have substantial experience as a maintenance technician with process control expertise in a manufacturing setting.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Manufacturing, or a related Electrical Engineering field, or significant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in a production environment.
  • A minimum of five years' experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in production technical processes and continuous improvement/OEE.
  • Proficiency in all areas of MS Office.
  • Experience and knowledge of PLCs, variable speed drives, and fault-finding.
