Principal Regeneration Officer (Public Sector)

Are you looking for a Principal Regeneration Officer role? Interested in working for a large public body for a period of 3 Years with a possible extension.

VANRATH are recruiting a Principal Regeneration Officer to lead on the efficient delivery of the Organisation's new and innovative Economic and Regeneration Growth Fund

Remuneration:
c£45,441, alongside holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the project management and delivery of key regeneration and development schemes across the Organisation, involving property based construction and the delivery of construction works, working with residents, partners and other key stakeholders, as identified within the regeneration programme.
  • To identify and build on a pipeline of available funding resources which the council can draw on to support the delivery of key regeneration projects which will build on the success of the Regeneration programme to date.
  • To work alongside a range of professional disciplines including planning, asset management, building control and external property and other consultants to help enable the delivery of project initiatives across the Organisation. There will be a requirement for cross departmental working to ensure the effective delivery of a number of key regeneration initiatives.
  • Manage sub projects within the regeneration programme under the direction of your line manager or departmental manager as and when required.
  • To manage, research, prepare and submit funding bids and collate information and evidence to support the preparation of claims, budget monitoring and performance return as and when required.
  • Prepare briefs, presentations and planning for meetings/events and collating information for projects.
  • To undertake the procurement of resources to support the delivery of projects.



The Ideal Person

  • A third level qualification (for example, an HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent in an appropriate related discipline, e.g. Economics, Housing, Regeneration, Project Management, Architecture.
  • A recognised professional qualification in Project Management

Have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience to include ALL of the following:-

  • Working experience within the field of regeneration and/or housing.
  • Experience of managing budgets of a large monetary value.
  • Project management experience.
