Practice Administrator

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Practice Administrator to join a busy and growing accountancy practice in Belfast City Centre. This is a key support role at the heart of the business, helping keep the practice running smoothly, supporting client interactions, and assisting the team during busy periods. A fantasitic opportunity offering flexible Part Time hours!

What You'll Do

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
  • General bookkeeping; Assist with light finance tasks such as data entry, invoicing, payment runs, credit control and simple reconciliations.
  • Act as a friendly and efficient first point of contact for clients and visitors
  • Assist the team with workload coordination, especially during peak periods
  • Manage office administration including scheduling, filing, communication and general organisation
  • Help with onboarding new clients and preparing required documentation
  • Support basic HR and operational admin as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, client files and internal systems
  • Work closely with senior staff to identify operational improvements
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and client-focused atmosphere

About You

  • Experience in office administration, operations or a similar support role
  • Strong communicator with a professional and approachable manner
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Confident dealing with clients and supporting colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive, flexible, and happy to take on varied responsibilities
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
