Power Plant Manager

VANRATH are recruiting an experienced Power Plant Manager to run the Coolkeeragh Power Plant in Derry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading the Power Station management team and all teams/staff.
  • Manage Power Station to achieve an incident and injury free work environment.
  • Lead the development of key business goals and targets and take responsibility for their delivery.
  • Ensure overall operating effectiveness to deliver best practice plant performance in terms of availability, efficiency and reliability.
  • Drive technical and operational innovation to achieve improvements in plant performance, with a particular focus on the reliable provision of system services.
  • Strategic site development.
  • Ensure continuous development of a high-performance culture, with an emphasis on empowerment through engagement, involvement, accountability and key performance measures.


The Ideal Person:

  • Third Level Qualification in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ Years experience in Plant/Plant Operations
  • 3+ Years Senior Management Experience
  • Experience in the Effective Management of Safety
