Policy Manager

Temporary opportunity for an experienced Policy Manager, working with a large Public Sector Organisation, to support in the operational delivery of a range of statutory duties, such as Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations and Equality to ensure that the Organisation complies with all statutory and legislative requirements.

This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday with the potential for hybrid working.

Candidate Profile...

• Minimum of a Third Level Qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Business, English, Law, Politics or Sociology.

AND

At least three years' management experience in a Policy or Research Function, across the following areas:

• Working in partnership with a range of stakeholders to develop and implement strategies, policies or initiatives which deliver positive outcomes;
• Supporting and advising Representatives and other stakeholders within a partnership working framework;
• Working effectively within a highly pressurised environment, where priorities and deadlines are subject to change;
• Managing robust information governance and management practices and/or related functions (such as information audit, risk management, records management, GDPR compliance).

PLUS

• A willingness to work outside of business hours at weekends, evenings and public holidays, as dictated by the needs of the service.
• Access to a form of transport and willingness to to travel on official duty within the local area and beyond.
