VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a PMO (Project Support Officer). Reporting into the Head of PMO this is an urgent start for a permanent role. The post holder will support the PMO in continued development of a best practise portfolio programme and project management office (P3O) governance framework, maintenance of information management systems and in ensuring effective communications with key stakeholders

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager to join an organisation going through a significant range of projects. You will have excellent access to senior members of the team who are keen to pass on knowledge and train while in the role.

Remuneration

£31,138 £34,375 alongside, NILGOSC pension, generous benefits that come with this clients remuneration package.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of Project, Programme and Portfolio management (P3O) procedures.

  • Provide information support to project and programme managers such as templates and Guidance Notes

  • Coordinate PMO communications with key stakeholders including DfI project approvals and public interest queries

  • Support management of P3O SharePoint and Project Online information hub system including system development and ongoing management

  • Input key project data to Project Online system including business case conditions of offer.

  • Run analysis and compliance reports on application of project systems and support audits

  • Support project Gateway Reviews and Health Checks, collating relevant review documentation, organising interview/briefings and monitoring close out of recommendations

  • Assist PMO with collating data and reporting on wide range of P3O progress and performance.

  • Support other PMO planning and assurance functions such in compiling and analysing data and preparing P3O reports such as corporate risks and benefits.

  • Schedule and co-ordinate meetings and appointments, workshops, consultation, and engagement events.

  • Compile team and associated working group documentation including agendas and minute taking.

Candidate

  • Hold Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualification.

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a project business administration, systems management or quality control environment
  • Minimum of HNC qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in document management systems e.g. SharePoint Experience in using MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Experience using Power BI
  • Experience in collating, analysing and reporting on complex data and KPIs
  • Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to collate and analyse data Experience planning and coordinating work activities to deadlines
  • Experience in project management methodologies or processes
