Plant Manager
VANRATH are recruiting a Plant Manager with experience in Plant Hire to be responsible for the daily management and co-ordination of plant operations, whilst driving the Hire side of the business forward.
Client
Our client is a leading geo-technical specialist in the UK and Ireland. With over 50 years of experience, specialising in all aspects of geotechnics and foundation-engineering, they are actively involved in some of the most challenging and iconic engineering projects across the nation, both current and upcoming.
With ambitious growth plans for the year ahead, they have begun the construction of brand new facility in Downpatrick with the intention of diversifying their services. Plans are underway to begin a manufacturing operation and also develop an existing Plant Hire branch of the business.
Package:
Responsibilities
* Oversee operations within the Plant team, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to in line with company standards
* Monitor and co-ordinate stock levels of Plant equipment, either used for internal projects or hired externally.
* Prioritise allocation of equipment of machinery to fulfil company requirements as necessary, whilst maintaining an active income stream for the business.
* Take a lead role in the development of the Plant Hire branch of the business, increasing revenue stream through business development
* Identify and convert on future business opportunities to increase revenue generated by machine/equipment hire.
* Strategically increase stock levels of plant machinery to meet increasing demand levels, whilst efficiently managing cost.
