Job Description

Pharmacy Technician - I am currently accepting applications from pharmacy technicians (with NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent) to provide pharmaceutical services in a clinical setting.

Key Duties:

- To dispense prescriptions

- Prepare & package pharmaceutica products

- Participate in the work of the Aseptic Service Section

- Participate in the work of the Ward Services Section

- Maintain equipment and dispensing areas in a clean and orderly manner

- Ensure that work practices and the working environment conform to the requirements of current legislation and professional recommendations.

Essential Criteria:

Either of the following:

  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles & Practise for Pharmacy Technicians (new qualification) OR
  • BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services OR
  • Equivalent knowledge and competency based qualifications in pharmacy, plus a minimum of 18 months relevant work-based experience in the UK.

Salary
£25,150 to £27,600 per annum
