Due to their continued expansion, they are searching for a Payroll Specialist to prepare and process UK payroll for around 500 employees covering multiple payrolls. This role would be suitable for a Payroll Specialist with 3-5 years experience and who is confident working in a high volume environment, dealing with multi country or multi site payrolls.

About you

If you have 3-5 years of payroll experience and are available to join a global organisation to assist their team during a busy period the following would be suitable qualities:

  • Organise and prioritise tasks and workload, complete multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to adjust to changes in priorities and situations; complete work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • Dealing with both internal and external customers in a professional manner, maintain employee confidentiality; appropriately handle and communicate private information.
  • Respond to queries/enquiries promptly with care; be understanding of customer needs; meet commitments and check for customer satisfaction; manage difficult or emotional customer circumstances
  • Ability to calculate manual payments
  • Strong Excel skills required

What you'll do

As a Payroll Specialist your responsibilities are:

  • Preparing and processing monthly UK payrolls for approximately 500+ employees over 5 payrolls
  • Processing & reconciling files from Workday HR & time tracking software.
  • Review, process, balance & reconcile payroll summaries, ensuring the computing, withholding and/or deductions associated with net pay are done properly.
  • Maintain relationship with payroll vendor, ensuring timely input submissions & processing.
  • Analyse outputs, identifying errors & reconciliation of monthly payrolls for accurate payments to employees.
  • Assist Global Payroll Manager & provide back-up with the monthly international payrolls.
